Instructions for transferring 1 SREC (Update 8/1/2019)

•             Log into your PJM-EIS GATs New Jersey SREC account, https://gats.pjm-eis.com (Click on “sign in” or Click on the LOCK depending on your device.” Enter your user name and password, Click Login. If you have any issue logging in call GATs at 877-750-4287.

•             To transfer one SREC to NJSREC.com.

•             In the “Account Summary module”, (upper left hand side of HOME page) you will see “Account Activity” and below you will see “CEPS” which are your SRECs. CEPs=SRECs. Click on the number”1” to the right of “CEPS” or to the right of “Bulletin Board Purchases” if you have listed your SRECs on the bulletin board.

•             The next screen is the CEPS Certificates page. Click on the blue “Transfer” link in the first “Action” column.

•             The next screen is the Transfer Certificate Page. Click on the first radio (circle) button “Another Account Holder”, go to “Select an Account Holder” to the right, Click the down arrow. Scroll down, select “NJSREC.com, a 21st Century Sales Company” from the dropdown menu. Note: after you have selected “NJSREC.com, a 21st Century Sales Company” once, it will appear at the top of the list for future transactions.

•             Next, and just below, Click the down arrow in the “Select Transfer Type” box and select “Spot Market” from the dropdown menu.

•             Next, above these entries and under Transfer Certificates, chose the 5th column headed “Price per Certificate” Enter the applicable posted price from our website, www.NJSREC.com for 1 SREC in the box. No $ sign should be entered and you must enter 2 decimals. (example: 200.50) (200.5 will not work)

•             Next, scroll to the very bottom of the page (skip everything else). Press the “Submit” button. At this point the SRECs will be transferred to NJSREC.com and your screen will change.

NOTE: GATs will email you a receipt for the transaction and notify us of your transaction. GATS will also open your contact and information to us. If you have done business with us previously, we have all your information in our accounting system. Gats will send us both an additional email when we accept your SREC(s). If the information in GATs is not the address and payee for your payment by check or if you change the payee or payment address at any time, even if you have changed it in GATs, please provide us by email your correct address and the correct payee. We will mail your check within 2 business days of your transfer and we will notify you by email the payment has been mailed.

Instructions for transferring 2 or more SRECs in a BATCH TRANSFER

(Update 8/1/2019)

•             Log into your PJM-EIS GATs New Jersey SREC account, https://gats.pjm-eis.com (Click on “sign in” or Click on the LOCK depending on your device.” Enter your user name and password, Click Login. If you have any issue logging in call GATs at 877-750-4287.

•             To see how many SRECs you have.

•             In the Account Summary module, (upper left hand side of page) you will see “Account Activity” below you will see “CEPS” which are your SRECs. CEPs=SRECs. If you listed on the ”Bulletin Board”  Bulletin Board=SRECs. You can’t transfer to us from the Bulletin Board, you must first transfer the SRECs to CEPs.

•             To transfer your SRECs to NJSREC.com.

•             On the top ribbon find “Certificates” (It’s the 3rd item following Accounts and Assets)

•             Under “Certificates” chose and Click on “REC Transfer” (It is the last item)

•             The next screen is the Certificate Transfer Parameter Entry Page. Click on the first radio (circle) button “Another Account Holder”, go to “Select an Account Holder” to the right, Click the down arrow. Scroll down, select “NJSREC.com, a 21st Century Sales Company” from the dropdown menu. Note: after you have selected “NJSREC.com, a 21st Century Sales Company” once, it will appear at the top of the list for future transactions.

•             Next, and just below, Click the down arrow in the “Select Transfer Type” box and select “Spot Market” from the dropdown menu.

•             No other information on this page needs to be completed. Scroll to the bottom of the page, Click “Next”

•             The next screen is the REC Selection Page. If you are transferring all the SRECs in your account, Click either the “Select All RECs” button at the top left of the page or in the “Select” box which is at the top of the first column that contains all the square check boxes. If you are not transferring all the SRECs in your account, Click in the boxes for the SRECs you are transferring, Click “Next”, a dialog box will appear “Use selected RECs” Click the “OK” Button. 

•             The next screen is the Certificate Price Entry Page.

•             Price Entry OPTION 1: When transferring SRECs and all have the same price, use the “Default Price Box” located at the top left corner. Enter the posted price from our website www.NJSREC.com or from our quote in the “Default Price Box”. No $ sign should be entered and you must enter two decimals. (example: 200.50) (200.5 will not work). A dialog box will appear, “A default price of (the entered price) will be applied to *all* RECs” Click “OK”. Go to the bottom of the page, Click “Next”

•             Price Entry OPTION 2: When transferring SRECs from more than one energy year with more than one price, enter the posted prices from our website www.NJSREC.com or quote in each box in the column “Price per Certificate”. No $ sign should be entered and you must enter 2 decimals. (example: 200.50) (200.5 will not work) Go to the bottom of the page, Click “Next”

•             The next screen is the Certificate Transfer Confirmation Page. At the bottom of the page Click the “Submit” button. At this point the SRECs will be transferred to NJSREC.com, your screen will change and the transfer is complete.
